Parkers HB, HA and H series four-way valves conform to the ISO 15407-2 and ISO 5599-2 standard, which specifies an International Standard Organizations mounting pattern interface to a common subbase or manifold. Electrical connections are valve to base plug-in, allowing valve replacement without disrupting any external electrical wiring. All HB, HA and H series valves feature Parker's exclusive Wear Compensation System (WCS) for millions of trouble-free, nonlubricated cycles. These valves are ideal for controlling double-acting cylinders, air motors and rotary actuators from a single location on a machine. These valves can either block air flow or allow air to flow. Directional control valves usually are classified several different ways including by function, the number of ports, the type of control or by the valve element. They can be manually, mechanically or electrically positioned or they may be air-actuated. There are several available valve porting options including two-way, three-way, four-way and five-way. Descriptions of directional control valves can be fairly easy to determine based upon the numerical series reference.
