Composite body is tough and corrosion resistant. Color-coded adjustment knob provides reference points for setting. The locking ring ensures a positive set point, and the valve stem is threaded for panel mounting. Material: Composite Port Type: NPTF Max. Pressure: 200 psi Fine Adjustment Item No. Mfr. This is accomplished by restricting the air flow leaving the actuator. Flow control valves vary greatly in type, and selection of these valves is based upon the application. The most common type of flow control valve found in a pneumatic system is the needle valve. Needle valves are volume-control valves that restrict air flow in small lines, allowing precise control of flow. A check valve is another type of valve that controls the flow of gases or liquids, but this particular valve only permits the gas or liquid to flow in one direction only. Flow in the desired direction opens the valve, while backflow forces the valve closed. The check valve is self-actuated and is constructed to prevent air or liquid from flowing back into the system. Product Tip Legris in-line flow controls can easily be added to existing circuitry by simply splicing them in the cylinder port line. We make ordering easy!
