Imperial Single Convolute Bellows Type Air Spring Air springs generally have a shorter, more compact height (length) than air or hydraulic cylinders. This offers many design advantages over air and hydraulic cylinders. The maximum recommended inflation pressure is 100 psig for air springs. This limit of pressure may require a larger OD air spring, when compared to a cylinder, to lift an equivalent load. Product Information Air springs provide a force in one direction, i.e., they are single acting. Air or hydraulic cylinders can be of the single or double acting types.
